This is a damaging leak for Kamala Harris.
She needed to keep the details of her plot under wraps.
But the ugly truth of her gun control scheme was revealed to everybody.
Many people think that Kamala Harris could wind up as the Democrat nominee for president very soon and could even take over as president before the end of the year.
Joe Biden’s cognitive state has deteriorated to the point where he may not be capable of serving in his current role for much longer.
This begs the question of what Harris would do if she were given the keys to the Oval Office as the 47th president.
The answer to that is apparently gun control, and lots of it. But since she is in the middle of a campaign right now, she doesn’t exactly want people to know that.
That’s why it is so bad for her that her gun control plans are being made public.
Now she will have to answer for why she is so interested in attacking a core constitutional right if she manages to become president in the near future.
According to The Truth About Guns, “The most likely replacement for Biden would be Vice President Kamala Harris. While her last run for the presidency (2020) was a disaster, she is more fanatic about banning firearms than even Biden.
“Many TTAG readers will likely recall that Harris has not only expressed a desire to ban common semi-auto rifles that gun-ban advocates call ‘assault weapons,’ but she has also spoken in favor of confiscating those firearms from the millions of Americans who legally own and use them. At a presidential campaign event in 2019, then-candidate Harris said that confiscation of commonly owned semi-automatic firearms like the AR-15 was ‘a good idea.’”
Even most anti-gun Democrats rarely admit that their goal is “confiscation,” but apparently Harris is not shy about that.
She hates guns and wants them removed from American society, and the only way to do that is by confiscating them from millions of people.
The article continues, “Last year, Harris was tabbed with being the top dog of the gun-ban aspect of Biden’s campaign. As her first order of business she gave a speech at a Gun Violence Awareness Day event in Springfield, Illinois. And as usual, she said a lot of the same old, misleading things that she and Biden have been saying for years.”
It’s critically important, especially given the events that have unfolded ever since the first presidential debate, that gun owners be aware of what Kamala Harris wants to do to them.
She would be the most hostile president to the Second Amendment in American history, and those who support gun rights would be in for a big fight.
Harris apparently wants to directly confiscate AR-15s, not just ban the sale of them, which would be an unprecedented move.
Kamala Harris is closer to being president than ever before, and she would be a historically anti-gun president if she manages to get there.
