ABOUT CANIK ARMS
Canik Arms is based in Turkey near a mountain bearing its name, which means a place of protection. For over twenty years, Canik has been a major player in the aerospace defense industry, and 2019 marks its 10th year as a world leader in firearm manufacturing.
Canik’s manufacturing expertise led to partnerships with Lockheed Martin, Airbus, and Boeing, which helped enable the development of a high-quality polymer pistol, the TP series, and its adoption by Turkish Law Enforcement. Canik partnered with Century Arms in 2012 to introduce Canik pistols to the U.S.A., where the company has quickly established itself in the firearm industry.
THE CANIK TTI COMBAT
Taran Butler, founder of Taran Tactical Innovations and the creator of firearms for the “John Wick” movie series, and Canik have teamed up to produce the Canik TTI Combat. This collaboration has combined the quality of Canik with the expertise of Taran Butler to create a one-of-a-kind pistol.
THE FRAME
The TTI Combat starts with a new polymer frame that Taran Butler designed. It features aggressive grip texturing with three back strap size options for a secure hold, an integrated, flared magwell and a removable aluminum competition magwell, a diamond cut, an aluminum flat-faced 90-degree break trigger, an enlarged trigger guard for gloved shooting, a reversible magazine release, a serrated and ambidextrous slide release, a trigger safety, firing pin block and a Picatinny rail for lights or lasers.
THE SLIDE & BARREL
The slide has fully adjustable sights on the rear and a HiViz fiber optic up front. All touch points have a more aggressive texture, and the extreme cuts have shaved weight off. The TTI Combat is optics-ready, with a low-profile optics cut for the MECANIK line of optics and other micro red dot options. It also has a striker status indicator and a loaded chamber indicator. It features a ported and spiral-fluted barrel and the first Canik Quick Attach compensator for recoil mitigation. The combination of the compensator weight and the exhaust ports pushing gases to the side out of the sight picture make this a low recoil, very flat shooting pistol. All finished in bronze.
