DANIEL DEFENSE

Daniel Defense is a family-owned and privately held firearms manufacturer in Black Creek, Georgia. Founded in 2001 by President/CEO Marty Daniel, the company started from Marty’s vision to create custom accessories for his M-16 rifle.

An avid sportsman and supporter of the 2nd Amendment, Marty Daniel committed himself to produce a product unmatched in quality and precision. Just 18 years later, Marty Daniel’s concept has evolved into one of the most recognizable brands in the firearms world, manufacturing the world’s finest AR-15 rifles, rail systems, and accessories for civilian, law enforcement, and military customers.

Today, with a combined 300,000 sq. feet of manufacturing space, Daniel Defense has maintained a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

THE LIMITED SERIES

Daniel Defense has partnered with industry-leading manufacturers to build small batches of once-in-a-lifetime rifles, the Limited Series.

The Limited Series rifles are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. So, the best way to get your hands on one is to sign up for insider notifications and be one of the first to know what’s coming and when it’s available. But act fast because once these limited-edition rifles are gone, they’re gone for good.

THE LIMITED SERIES BUILD 15: THE “TAG”

Using the DDM4 V7 SLW rifle as a base, Daniel Defense enables the buyer to create their own Limited Series rifle. They provide all the supplies necessary to apply a “Rattle Can” finish! Just add spray paint to make your design, and you have a one-of-a-kind rifle.

THE RECEIVERS & INTERNALS

The lower receiver is Mil-Spec, CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, with an enhanced flared magazine well. In contrast, the upper receiver is Mil-Spec, CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, featuring indexing marks, M4 feed ramps, and a 1913 Picatinny rail on top, which, together with the handguard, provides an uninterrupted space for optics.

A Geissele SSA trigger is installed with an ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle, CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminum, and type III hard-coat anodized.

THE BARREL

The barrel is 14.5 inches long, hammer-forged chrome moly vanadium steel with an M4 profile that’s chrome lined and Mil-Spec phosphate coated. To meet the 16-inch barrel requirement, a pinned and welded Dead Air KeyMo muzzle brake is installed. This provides for flatter shooting and a quick-attach mount for a suppressor.

THE FURNITURE

The TAG features the ergonomic Daniel Defense buttstock with glass-filled polymer and soft touch overmolding, a Daniel Defense pistol grip with glass-filled polymer with soft touch overmolding, and the Daniel Defense lightweight free-floating MFR 13.5-inch handguard CNC machined of 6061-T6 aluminum, a seven-position M-LOK attachment for lights and lasers, and type III hard-coat anodized in Cobalt.

THE OPTICS

The optic is an Eotech HWS (Holographic Weapon Sight) EXPS2-0 with a QD mount. This lightweight holographic sight quickly attaches and detaches and maximizes rail space to allow easy co-witnessing of iron sights sold separately.
