This top Democrat is panicking after she was caught on tape doing something shocking.
Now she is dealing with the fallout from this scandal.
And her plans to ban guns in her state could be on hold because of it.
Kathy Hochul has been the governor of New York ever since Andrew Cuomo left in disgrace after his sexual harassment scandal.
She is a sworn enemy of gun owners and is proud of the fact that she wants to take away the gun rights of law-abiding New York residents.
According to Bearing Arms, “New York Governor Kathy Hochul, who previously had an ‘A’ rating from the NRA, has bragged about the new infringements at press conferences.”
According to the article, these infringements include a ban on pistol braces, a ban on the ability of 18-21-year-old adults to buy semi-automatic guns, a surveillance state targeted at gun owners, and a ban on body armor for most people.
The last one on the list has gotten Hochul into some trouble that she never expected to be in.
Hochul recently traveled to Israel for a photo op after the terrible terrorist attack by Hamas against innocent Israeli civilians.
Of course, her presence there didn’t help the situation in any way. She just wanted to pose for the cameras and look like she was “doing something about it.”
But it’s what she was wearing that caught everyone’s attention.
The Bearing Arms article continues, “While in Israel, Hochul was spotted wearing body armor which she didn’t hesitate to ban for the proles she lords over.
“This is the height of hypocrisy. Maybe Hochul should have also suggested to Netanyahu to pass a law banning body armor for Israelis because of the actions of Hamas, like she banned armor for New Yorkers because of the Buffalo shooter?”
There’s even a video of Hochul posted. And sure enough, she is wearing body armor that would be illegal for nearly all New York residents. Apparently the rules do not apply to her.
There’s also a line later in the article that should catch the attention of gun owners. The article says, “Her flight to Israel was as sincere as her previous NRA ‘A’ rating, and was only meant to feign sympathy for Israelis to make sure Jewish voters in New York don’t think of her as siding with Jihadis through complicit silence.”
Hochul had an “A” rating from the NRA. Why is the NRA handing out their highest rating to politicians who are rabidly anti-gun?
This is a major swing and miss by the NRA and should make gun owners extremely skeptical of the scorecards that they assign to politicians.
Kathy Hochul is embarrassed after the video got out of her wearing body armor that she banned in New York.
Her constituents are realizing how much of a hypocrite she really is.
And now Hochul is having to deal with the fallout from this scandal, which could put on hold her plans to enact further gun grabs in the state of New York.
