One of the biggest cities in America has devolved into total chaos.

They thought that enacting gun control would save them from violence.

But instead, the city government has completely lost control.

New York City is becoming one of the most dangerous cities in America, and it appears that this is a direct result of the gun control laws that they have put in place.

They bought into the lie that more guns lead to more crime, and they thought that cracking down on guns would make their city more peaceful.

But it turns out that it has done nothing but take away the ability of citizens to defend themselves, which has made life much easier for criminals.

Now, crime is absolutely skyrocketing in New York, and the city is less safe than it has been in years.

The mayor and the city government seem to have no answer for it, as it goes against their whole ideology about gun control.

And now there are statistics coming out that show just how bad it has gotten in New York ever since they banned guns on public transit.

According to the New York Post, “Crime on the subways has become significantly more violent since the pandemic with the number of felony assaults soaring when compared to pre-pandemic levels, an analysis by The Post revealed.

“The number of attacks on trains that left victims injured jumped 53% from 2023’s 570 felony assaults to the 373 reported in 2019, according to stats.

“Those 200 extra felony assaults meant that attacks resulting in substantial injury accounted for 25% of 2,285 major crimes reported on trains and in stations in 2023, compared to just 15% of the 2,499 major crimes in 2019, the data show.”

This comes after a 2022 law that made it illegal to carry guns on the public transit system in New York City. It’s clear that the law did not work.

According to ABC News, “Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Friday night she has signed legislation – just passed by lawmakers this evening – that was crafted in response to the recent Supreme Court ruling on concealed carry laws.

“The legislation includes making concealed carry in ‘sensitive locations’ illegal. Sensitive locations include airports and public transportation, entertainment venues, bars and restaurants, houses of worship and Times Square, among others.”

There is not one single criminal in the entire city of New York who, upon finding out that guns were now banned on the subway, decided not to bring guns onto the subway.

There surely are, however, many law-abiding citizens who would have loved to carry a firearm on the subway to protect themselves against crime, who are now sitting ducks.

New York City made a huge mistake passing this law, and they are paying the price. They have emboldened criminals and hurt ordinary residents of their city.

Now the city is descending into madness in the wake of this gun ban, and the government seems to have no idea of how to stop it.
