Democrats weren’t prepared to hear this from a women’s rights advocate.

They were expecting her to support their anti-gun agenda.

But she went rogue and delivered some facts that stunned the Democrats into silence.

Anti-gun politicians can’t even fathom the idea that women would want to use firearms for their protection.

In their minds, firearms should only be for the police and military, and civilians shouldn’t be trusted with them, even for their own personal safety.

Thankfully, not everyone sees it that way. And one witness who was testifying at a congressional hearing went rogue on the Democrats and excoriated gun control laws that make it harder for women to defend themselves.

Now anti-gun Democrats in Congress are scrambling, as the last thing they want is for more women to realize how valuable firearms can be for their own personal defense.

If women realize that, it will strike a devastating blow to the anti-gun agenda that is being pushed on a daily basis in the halls of Congress.

And it will lead to higher rates of gun ownership in the United States, which is the last thing these politicians want.

According to The Truth About Guns, “Congress heard directly from women on the need to empower women by protecting Second Amendment rights in a hearing at the U.S. House of Representatives. The hearing gave voice to women, including domestic violence survivors, of how gun control measures often make it more burdensome for women to protect themselves, even as gun control proponents continue to tell these same women that the government and police will protect them.

“The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance hosted the hearing titled, ‘Second Amendment Rights Empower Women’s Rights’ to inform lawmakers of how gun control puts barriers in the way, or in some cases, robs women of the inherent right to self-defense. Witnesses told lawmakers of their survival stories from horrific spousal abuse. These women also explained that learning to become a responsible firearm owner not only provides them the means to protect themselves and their children while empowering them to determine their futures without fear.”

One of the witnesses was Geneva Solomon, a survivor of domestic abuse who now advocates firearm training for women who are at risk of abuse.

Here is what she had to say: “My journey from victim to survivor to advocate has led me to this moment today. As a Black woman, this is not a matter of imagination. It was my lived experience.”

This is a nightmare for the gun control lobby and the politicians that they control. After all, there are many women who can sadly identify with what Solomon went through.

And many of them will hear her testimony and realize that firearm ownership makes sense for their self-defense.

Democrats weren’t expecting these witnesses to go rogue and attack gun control laws.

And now they are scrambling to cover up what these witnesses had to say and prevent this information from getting out to the public.
