Gun owners are in danger in a state no one expected.
They have vowed to take guns away and destroy the Second Amendment.
And this latest gun confiscation scheme will shock everyone who cares about guns.
Washington is a state that has had relative balance in their state government for many years. Even though it is generally considered a blue state, it had a Republican-controlled Senate from 2014 to 2017.
For that reason, it’s not the first state where most people would expect a monumental gun grab to take place. States like California and Massachusetts are generally considered far more anti-gun.
But that is quickly changing as the anti-gun movement is radicalizing and politicians are becoming more bold in their efforts to grab guns.
Now, gun control has become a top priority for politicians in Washington state, and the few pro-gun politicians who are left in Olympia are scrambling to put out this fire.
Gun owners could be in serious danger in the state of Washington if they don’t act soon.
There are a number of new gun control bills that are expected to move quickly through the legislature.
According to Axios Seattle, “State lawmakers are looking at ways to beef up Washington’s gun control laws, such as banning firearms in more public places and possibly requiring gun buyers to get permits.”
“Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell is urging the Legislature to adopt several gun control measures, including the gun permitting bill and a proposal to ban guns in places such as parks, zoos, libraries and transit stations.
“The mayor also wants the Legislature to stop bulk sales of firearms by letting dealers sell a maximum of one gun to the same person in a 30-day period.”
They have made it clear that they are not stopping with these proposals, either. After all, they just passed a gun control law last year, and yet now they are coming back for more.
The article continues, “Democratic leaders told reporters last week that they’re interested in finding additional ways to reduce gun violence, after passing a law last year banning the sales of so-called assault weapons.”
“In the past, Washington legislators have preferred to enact statewide gun control policies to avoid a patchwork of different local laws.”
State Sen. Manka Dhingra said, “It is important that we continue making progress,” which is a clear implication that they are not planning to stop here if these proposals pass.
Clearly Washington lawmakers are committed to taking away the rights of law-abiding citizens of their state and making it one of the most anti-gun states in America.
This could be a disaster for gun owners who live in Washington state, and they need to stand up and fight for their rights before it is too late.
Politicians in Washington state are not planning to stop passing more gun control until all of the guns are taken away.
And time is running short for those who still care about the Second Amendment to fight back against these horrible proposals.
